CLINICAL CASE
Secondary correction
of the nose by PEG-HA
Dr. Francesca De Angelis
Plastic surgeon,
Italy
REPORT SUMMARY
PATIENT
A 40-year-old woman sought correction
after failed rhinoplasty with inverted
V deformity, dorsal hump, and valve
collapse.
TREATMENTS
Surgical revision was excluded due
to lack of cartilage support and prior
trauma. Neauvia Intense (PEG-HA 28
mg/ml) was used as a structural rhinofiller.
In 2018, 1 ml was injected with a 22G
BEFORE
cannula under SMAS, mimicking grafts
(extension, spreader, strut), followed by a
1 ml touch-up in 2022.
RESULTS
Results remained natural and stable over
7+ years, demonstrating durability and
graft-like integration.
